VOLUNTEER
The greatest resource available to the Montgomery County Search & Rescue Team is our people. The common thread that unites us all is the desire to help others. To this end we have dedicated ourselves to help locate missing or lost persons. Our dedication extends to not only actual missions, but for training purposes as well. We put ourselves, our animals, and our property at risk so that others may live.
Every mission has a broad range of duties that require the skills of many different individuals. From the initial call out to the final all clear there are many ways that an individual can serve with us to complete a successful mission. Some of those responsibilities include administration, logistics, communications and resource management just to name a few. If you are interested please call, email or come to our monthly meeting for more information.
Our monthly meetings are held the last Thursday for every month at 7:30 PM in Magnolia at the West Montgomery County Community Development Center on Industrial Lane. We begin arriving around 7:00 PM and there is always plenty of coffee to drink.
